I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Designation (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio. I have been working in the counseling profession since 2014 and in the mental health field since 2010. I feel the majority of my clients are quick to find that I am relaxed, calm and welcoming within the counseling experience. I am a liberal individual that is open to self-choice, one’s interests, beliefs and values. My goal in counseling is to help you, support you, and help advocate for you. I focus on meeting my clients where they are and collaborating on moving forward collectively. Together we can work on finding techniques, interventions and a counseling style that fits your needs in order to fulfill your life with value and meaning.

My education includes a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wittenberg University. I have worked with numerous populations (e.g., individual therapy for adolescents and adults, couples, families, emergency room crisis assessments, state psychiatric hospitals, eating disorder treatment and online/remote therapy etc.) and have a wide range of experience with different presenting problems. Working in so many settings, I have gained experience and learned tools that could be helpful to you and your family.

Here’s a sampling of the settings in which I have worked: North Central Mental Health Services, Nationwide Children’s Hospital Emergency Room, Columbus Springs Dublin, Comprehensive Services Inc., Betterhelp, and The Center for Balanced Living (now The Emily Program). Some of the approaches used in therapy include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strength-based interventions, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based interventions, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
